Welcome to Home Repairs Ministries!
HRM seeks to meet the needs of widows, foster families, single moms, elderly and disabled individuals by assisting with home maintenance and repair. The ministry serves anyone, regardless of religious background, in order to meet very real needs and build relationships, demonstrating the love of Jesus Crrist. We bring volunteers together with a variety of churches and skills to serve families in the community.
The ministry is strongest where we have the most churches in the network, the northern suburbs of Atlanta, but is developing a network of affiliates throughout metro-Atlanta and seeks to offer help to other city-reaching groups across the country.Announcements
HRM had a wonderful turnout and cooperative effort for Unite's Compassion in Action Weekend in October. Ten
churches participated through HRM and this year more took full ownership and really got the job done. Many individuals and other ministries were served.
Following Compassion in Action weekend, the houses that were framed in church parking lots were put up. What a pleasure
to see God's people from so many churches working together to bless a family in need. Starting on Friday with a slab and leaving on Saturday with
the house ready for shingles, windows & door, etc. gives volunteers a strong sense of accomplishment as we drove nails in the name of our Savior.
